Situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills, Oakhill Camping and Caravanning is based on a working family farm in an idyllic Somerset village.
The campsite is an ideal base to explore the nearby Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty featuring some spectacular views and great days out for all the family including Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat, Glastonbury and Wells (the smallest city in England).
Whether you're after a relaxing few days in the heart of Somerset or something more exhilarating, the Mendip Hills has it all.
Fantastic 5 star campsite! Peaceful and well kept site. Facilities are fantastic! Lovely owners who keep the site well maintained, very friendly and will help with anything. Dog friendly. Perfect staycation! Pub 5 minutes walk which has excellent food. All in all a 5 star site!

Just home from a wonderful 9-night stay at Oakhill - our second visit. Small site in a beautiful setting, with spotless facilities and a warm and friendly welcome. You can't ask for more than that. Thank you!
I don’t ever write reviews but this was by far the nicest CS we have ever stayed on, so I really wanted to give credit where it’s due. Mandy is very friendly, super organised, and keeps the site spotlessly clean. The showers are the best I’ve ever experienced at any campsite, plenty of room, clean, and just like the ones you get at home
